The company

GOTFire heating system is constructed and manufactured by Br Wimans Mekaniska Verkstad AB. Lars Wiman established the company in 1962 but Anders och Ola Wiman runs the business since 1991. Bio energy has always been a part of the company, which has given us long experience of woodchip heating. The company manufactures woodchip burners, woodchip conveyors and woodchip storages. All production and development is within the company, the most important issues for us are safety both regarding fire-protection and reliability in service. The development of new products is carried on continuously to satisfy the customer requirements of easy to install and service friendly heating systems. Our business concept is to manufacture technical innovative bio energy products of high quality and easy handling.

The raw material

GOTFire has chosen woodchip because it is a excellent material for energy. The advantage of woodchip is that the forest holds lot of material well suited for woodchip that is rejected as firewood or pellet. Woodchip is furthermore cheap to produce and is a more economic alternative than both corn and pellet. The equipment for processing woodland material to woodchip is a fairly cheap investment. The access of woodchip improves continuously because contractors and woodland owners face the market demand of good quality woodchip. There are also big quantities of second-hand wood material, such as disposal pallet, packing and other disposal wood material. The advantage of second-hand wood material is that it has good dryness and contains small amounts of bark. Which produce less amount of ash compared to woodchip made of woodland.

GOTFire products

GOTFire heating system has been developed to face the demand of lower discharging levels of substances that are influencing the environment. GOTFire burner is tested at ÄFAB and fulfils by far the requirements from the Swedish authorities. GOTFire burner is fully automatic with a igniting and extinguishing function. This gives a easy heating all year around and can easily combine with solar cell heating. The flame in the burner is supervised by a photocell that ensures a secure burning and function. All the functions in the burner are automatically controlled by programmable logic controller, PLC. The woodchip storages have hydraulic delta scrapers that guarantee a reliable function and a optimal use of almost all the volume of wood-chip. The storages have refilling hatches that opens easily.
